November - new lintels and a bit of gardening

The outside was completed with the exterior door in the cladding recalling the original building.

 

Sept

Started the interior painting in Sept - upstairs only as we can't do downstairs until the heating is in.

 

June - drainage

Got the drainage in and inspected!

 

Wheel Well

August and September also saw the rebuilding of the wheel well, whilst we waited on the boreholes for the heating.

There was a lot to dismantle, more than we thought, but at least the view was nice and the weather fine!

 

Now the walls are all square and less likely to end up in the burn.

 

Plastering

Then there was a lot of plastering to do....

The bathroom...

and corridors

July - timber

all the timber we have been drying is finally ready to go to the saw mill.

The lean-to was dismantled to - in line with the method statement obviously! the stone looks lovely where it had been hidden inside and really makes you appreciate the space better.
