A blog about a man single handedly turning an old abandoned saw mill into a family home with a tiny budget, a tight time scale and a bit of know how. (Written by his patient wife)

March - lots of deliveries
It's the beginning of March and we have had lots of deliveries.
Plants - 12 dogwood, 6 alder, 12 holly, 50 hornbeam, 1 sweet chestnut, 25 roses, 3 gooseberry, 12 silver birch, 3 bird cherry & 6 holm oak.
We've planted a few already but typically the lovely days of sunshine we have been having recently have turned to wind and rain
also....
Windows - 14 oak framed windows to fit original openings, made by Tom.
They need treating before they can be fitted and the glass needs to be put in, but they look rather smart.
